ABOUT TIM DALE
Tim was born in Buffalo, New York and was inspired by his 5 brothers and sisters. His father was a Vaudevillian Performer, acrobat and a night club entertainer, who greatly influenced him. Tim built his love of food, music, fitness and socializing from his parents motto ‘everyone has a seat at the table’. His family’s loving nature, inclusivity, and commitment to justice and equality, imbued him to those same values.
At age 18, Tim moved to Lake Tahoe where he helped open a natural foods restaurant, Wolfdale’s, with his brother, Douglas, sister, Deborah, and his brother-in-law, Jerry. Over 40 years later, his brother Douglas still owns and operates Wolfdale’s to this day! What a success. His early experience and training there contributed to Tim’s entrepreneurial spirit.
In late 80s, Tim left Lake Tahoe and moved to San Francisco where his interest in learning and developing several San Francisco restaurants, bars and nightclubs. During his 30s he owned and operated several restaurants in San Francisco and help create the San Francisco hot & trendy scene.
Tim invested considerable time and energy in creating alliances, forming partnerships and supporting other great talents bringing in food, music, designers, artists and creators in the community. Together, they developed innovative concepts, designed and raised capital, and created and managed exciting successful businesses that improved the landscape in San Fransisco.
With his outgoing reputation and flare with customers, Tim became one of the hottest restauranteur and nightclub owners in San Francisco during that decade. His name remains a fixture in the restaurant-night club community to this day. Properties include:
â–º Eddie Jacks – Hip SF restaurant with major press attracted from all over world
â–º Tap Room Bar – Live music & Bar. The Counting Crows had their first gig ever there.
â–º Undici – High-end southern Italian restaurant
â–º Eleven 11 – cuisine unique
â–º DNA Lounge – vibrant club held approx 1000 patrons and featured diversified venues of music nightly
â–º UP & Down Club – cutting edge club was sold to Christy Turlington
â–º Fume – Fine dining and cigar club in Union Square
â–º Le Colonial – chic French-Vietnamese restaurant
â–º and of course Wolfdale’s!
In 1999, due to Tims’s growing passion for YOGA, he opened a San Francisco yoga studio, YOGA TREE, identifying a growing trend. Within a year and half, opened three locations with 1,000 people a day through the doors of the three studios. After 10 years, YOGA Tree grew to 10 locations. The program became world-renowned by hosting national and internationally acclaimed teachers, classes, workshops, seminars, and teacher-training programs.
In 2016, Tim became a partner at Camp Navarro. This wilderness venue produces and promotes concerts, community gatherings, corporate retreats, weddings, and Music Festivals. OmRising.org was one of Tim’s well organized events featuring yoga, music, spiritual healing and communes with nature.
Tim continues to consult and pursue projects that inspire him.

Steven Zimmerman
Steven Zimmerman has personally sold/leased over 1000 restaurant, bar or club businesses, over 40 commercial buildings and completed over 3,000 valuations since 1996. His real estate experience also includes sales, acquisitions, management and ownership of numerous properties throughtout California including restaurants, hotels, apartment buildings and single family homes. Prior to starting Restaurant Realty Company Steven had over 20 years of restaurant experience and was President and CEO of Zim’s Restaurants, which was one of the largest privately owned restaurant chains in the San Francisco Bay Area with 37 restaurants during its history. Steven is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Business Administration and Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. He holds a California State Real Estate Brokers License (Lic. ID#01310250), State of California Lifetime College Teaching Certificate, and he has earned the industry’s top designations for advanced education which include: the Certified Business Broker (CBB) designation awarded by the California Association of Business Brokers, the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association and the Mergers and Acquisition Mastery Intermediary designation (M&AMI) awarded by the Mergers & Acquisitions Source (M & A Source).  Steven has lectured at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and has taught management courses at San Francisco City College Hotel and Restaurant School and the former School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management at Golden Gate University. Steven has been a regular guest lecturer at the California Culinary Academy (CCA) in San Francisco for several years and he currently teaches the principles of business brokerage to other real estate brokers. He is a member of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, California Restaurant Association, Cornell University’s Hotel Society, Cornell University’s Real Estate Council, California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), the International Association of Business Brokers (IBBA) and Mergers & Acquisitions Source (M & A Source).  Steven serves on HFLA (a non-profit institutional lender) as immediate Past President, Chairman of the Nominating and Board Development Committee and Loan Committee and member of the Board of Directors, Executive, Loan and Audit Committees.
