Restaurant Realty’s Use of Targeted Email Blasts Results in More Closed Deals

For several months we have been using our extensive data base of over 40,000 buyers and lessees to close more deals.  We compile from our data base a custom list of perspective buyers who are existing restaurant, bar and/or club operators based on their acquisition criteria and we then email them the information regarding the specific deal in a confidential format. Many of our new listings are unique and require us to expand our database in search of a potential best fit for the business that we are trying to sell. In these cases we take into consideration the following criteria in our research for this potential buyer:

a. the sales volume of the businesses operation,

b. the square footage of their location(s),

c. the city(s)/county(s) that they operate in and

d. the format of their operation such as fast food, casual dining, high end, full service, self-service, 5 day week breakfast lunch operation and percent of alcohol sales to total sales, etc.

Once we have our data base compiled we design a catchy personalized email addressed to the specific owner of the business we have targeted.  In this email we discuss the key elements of the business we are marketing such as the location, sales, profitability and physical components of the business. We also include a link to the profile sheet on our website for this listing plus a link to a confidentiality agreement for the perspective buyer to complete and a link to our website so buyers can check out all of available businesses for sale. Our usual targeted eblast includes between 250 to 300 qualified buyers.

This targeted marketing approach has resulted in many closed transactions and we are committed to using this marketing program on an ongoing basis in the future.

The above mentioned targeted email blast campaign is in addition to our regular on going marketing program which includes all our listings being placed on 12 major business for sale websites including our website – restaurantrealty.com and all new listings being included in our enewsletter which goes out to over 40,000 buyers in our data base every other week.
