Restaurant Realty Co and agent, Keith Simpson were contacted by Stephen Willey in July 2020 just as the pandemic was taking grip. It was an almost impossible task to sell such a unique property during the closure of most Hospitality businesses.

With the assistance of Brokers Allen Kirschbaum from Southern California and colleague Hugh Dugan from Las Vegas, an experienced Buyer was finally secured.

Buyer, Edy Headley has herself a long career in Restaurant and Catering management and intends on maintaining the National Hotel & Restaurant level of product quality, ambiance and service. The National has a great reputation as an acclaimed restaurant and hotel. Edy’s goals are to increase on-premises weddings, receptions, small seminars and meetings, as well as increase off-premises catering of many types of activities, increase patronage of on-premises banquets, etc., by car clubs, red hat groups, gold-history groups, etc.

Yosemite National Park close by offers many bus/tour companies that arrive and are aware of all that is offered in Jamestown, “The Movie Railroad” and the Gold Country in general.
