The room and board facility at 732 B Street, Hayward was sold on 9/25/24 by Steve Zimmerman.
The property is centrally located near the city hall and close to an area where new development is taking place.
The facility included a 9 unit room and board facility including the real estate. The units were fully furnished and some had private baths and there were also some units with shared baths. There was a central kitchen which was used by the tenants.
The sellers were Tim and Julie McKillop who owned and operated the building as an investment since 2007.
The buyers are Pat Le and Thuy Huynh, experienced business people who own a furniture business and investment properties in California and outside of the state. Their plan is to get licensed individually and get the property licensed to convert the property into an elderly care facility in the future.
It was a pleasure working with the parties and we wish Pat and Thuy much success in their new business and wish Tim and Julie much happiness in their well deserved future retirement.
